Very funny - and harmless fun.
Another reason Harley riders don't wave is in case the drop some of the large number of spanners and other tools they have to carry.
And sports bike riders don't wave cos they darn't release their iron grip on the 'bars for even a second in case the bike hits the power and pulls a monster wheelie or hits a tiny hole in the road and starts a tank slapper.
I wave at all bikers, then curse the ones that don't wave back.
